Another thing to do to lower your cost is to check your car, there could be some provisions in your existing policy that you no longer need. You can exclude that the next time out. Also if you are already a longtime policy holder of the auto insurance company, you can ask to get something that should reward you for staying with the company (read as: discount). If you also have homeowner’s insurance, maybe you can move your auto insurance policy to the same company that handles your home insurance.
